Our page is moving! Starting soon we will be simplifying our pages to make it easier to connect and share information.

Our The Packing House page will be 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 to "Eastern Connecticut Center for History, Art, & Performance (EC-CHAP)". This will become our single hub for all updates, events, and news across all EC-CHAP programs! This includes The Packing House performance venue, The Gardiner Hall Jr. History Museum, the Dye & Bleach House Community Gallery, and our Artist in Residence Program.

Our Gallery & Museum will be closed this Saturday (4/19) and next Saturday (4/26) as preparations begin for a new exhibition at the Dye & Bleach House Community Gallery! "Broken Homes" by Allison Pillari and Secondary will have its opening reception on Friday, May 2nd from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Through landscape or portrait these works represent life and their ever changing states. The work created by Allison Pillari and Secondary represents different perspectives of time and transformation. Landscapes frozen in time and works of art transforming over multiple years to communicate change.

We would like to thank all those who came out to “Songs for Ukraine II”, a Benefit Concert to support the people of Ukraine. Your attendance and generous support is greatly appreciated. 100% of all funds raised will go directly to Ukraine through our charitable partner, Direct Relief.

Our Gallery & Museum will be closed this Saturday (Nov 30th) as preparations have begun for a new exhibition at the Dye & Bleach House Community Gallery! "Landscapes Through Texture" by Carol Mackiewicz Neely will have its opening reception on Friday, December 13th from 6:30pm-8:00pm. This collection of texture paintings depicts imagined landscapes existing in a misty haze or from high above in a bird’s eye view snapshot.
