Hey Williamston!! As we close out 2025, we wanted to say a big "THANK YOU!" to all our friends and neighbors for keeping our parks clean and beautiful, continuing to support our nonprofit, and for attending community events in our parks all year long.
As for a little recap:
This year we've gotten 114 new followers and are now up to 1600, which is just awesome!
Our top post received almost 7000 views and had 141 interactions, including comments, loves, likes. We ♥️ that, too!
We raised over $30K to install another set of incredible chainsaw sculptures in McCormick Park and to host an amazing Chainsaw Art in the Park Encore! event on the absolute hottest and most popular day this fall! 🤪
And now, we have much to look forward to in 2026:
✨a new GaGa Ball pit being installed in McCormick Park in the spring thanks to Scouting America, Williamston Michigan, an effort led by Carter Kystyniak!
✨our annual spring clean-up of McCormick Park in May including a big big effort to stain the ENTIRE wooden play structure!
✨our annual Red Cedar Jubilee fundraising Euchre Tourney in June!
✨a new "walk in the park" opportunity to connect with other friends of Williamston parks at other beautiful parks in the 48895 zip!
✨an email newsletter for those of us giving social media a break but still want to stay engaged with the good stuff. Message us if you'd like to be added to our mailing list!
