Green Building for Rent at the SCA
206 Tetherow Rd, Williams

The building is situated on 7 beautiful acres in "downtown" Williams. It is roughly 30' x 20', has a small stove, small sink, wood grain floors, and lots of windows for natural light. It also has a mini-split heating and cooling system. Restrooms are detached. Adjacent to the building is the independent Sugarloaf Center.

The space was originally used as a classroom and most recently housed a healing collective and the Meraki Project. In keeping with our mission, the SCA Board of Directors would prefer to rent the Green Building to another nonprofit or an education, recreation, or healthcare collective, but we are also open to other types of collective or individual use of the space.

We are seeking renters who are interested in supporting the SCA and being a vital part of this community land. Preference will be given to renters offering something beneficial to the community.

Rent is $500/month, including utilities, as long as usage remains within normal averages. If electrical usage exceeds normal levels, additional fees will be charged.

The Green Building is not available for residential use.

This decision will be made quickly. Please contact us ASAP if you're interested. Initial deadline for applications: August 31st, 2026.

The SCA has a caretaker and is a registered 501c3 nonprofit.

Exciting News for the Williams Community!

We are incredibly grateful to announce that Sugarloaf Community Association has been awarded a grant to support the Williams Food Pantry!
This funding provides the essential start-up resources needed to establish the Williams Food Pantry as a sustainable, community-operated partner agency.
This project would not be possible without the dedication of the pantry coordinator, Ash Martell, the Josephine County Food Bank, the Williams Grange, volunteers, and supporters who recognized the need for a locally managed food pantry. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient Williams community.

Thank you to the Oregon Food Bank for believing in this vision and investing in the health and well-being of our neighbors. We look forward to sharing updates as the Williams Food Pantry continues to grow and serve our community! ❤️

We are thrilled to announce that the Sugarloaf Community Association is a Coalition for Kids 2026 grantee!! These funds go towards the Williams Community Preschool's summer program and to improve it's outdoor play and learning space, which will allow the children to spend more time outside learning and playing with friends in all the seasons! Thank you, Redwood Foundation for Education !

Our first Coalition for Kids 2026 grantee spotlight is Sugarloaf Community Association. They were awarded $14,000 to support summer school and outdoor play area improvement at the Williams Community Preschool. We are grateful to SCA for providing this crucial assistance to rural families this summer. Stay tuned for the rest of our C4K grant spotlights!

Williams Community Preschool has 2 spots left for our tuition-free summer session July 7 - August 6, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-2pm. We serve children 3-5 years old. Registration is still open for the fall as well. Email: [email protected] for more info or to schedule a tour.
