Hi friends and animal lovers. I’m reaching out in hopes of finding help for the cats in my care and for my work with community cats and community outreach. So I thought I should share a little bit about what I do and what’s needed to function.
I personally care for over 50 cats, all true rescues who would have died or suffered without intervention. Who are challenging to place and will live out their lives with me, as family. Food and essential supplies cost around $1000 per month. They of course need routine veterinary care, and occasional emergency care, which is increasing as my population ages.
I also do as much outreach as I can find time and resources for. This includes TNR work for community cats, as well as helping individuals navigate the vet system, covering the cost of their animals procedures and providing transportation. And really, always trying to help any animal in need that I encounter.
It’s always been my hope that this work could be funded by a lot of small donations from people who think this work is valuable. So I’m hoping some of you would like to contribute, ideally on a monthly basis. Although of course I’d be grateful for any one time donations as well.
Donation info can be found at the linktree above or at https://gentleheartanimaladvocacy.org/donate/. PayPal, Givebutter and most online banking portals offer a recurring donation option. Venmo doesn’t but is an option for one time donations. I’m always looking for other options so if you have a preferred method please let me know.
Thanks so much for reading this far. And for helping, or sharing, and most of all for caring. I truly believe these creatures deserve and need our help and this is really all about trying to meet this responsibility. Infinite gratitude, Chris.
