We’re holding an emergency fundraiser to replace a failed roof on our museum buildings in Wildwood, NJ.

If you’re new to us: we’re a small nonprofit museum caring for a row of connected historic buildings that hold the town’s stories—photos, artifacts, and memories from generations of locals and visitors.

Thank you to everyone who’s already given—you’re helping keep a roof over that history. The last few years have been tough: our income dropped after the street-sign fundraiser ended, we replaced one roof a few years ago, and now another section has failed. The leaks are significant, and with more rain on the way we need to act now. We’ve lined up a roofer; we need to raise $16,000+ to cover labor, materials, and waterproofing. Hopefully this is the last big roof job for a long while.

When it was built in 1909, the classic revival style home fronted east onto the Wildwood boardwalk and overlooked the beach. Growth of the beach and new development puts it now about two blocks from the beach and boardwalk.

The home was built in 1909 and has has eight bedrooms and three full- and three half-bathrooms.
