🚨 A HUGE ASSET FOR THE NORTH END OF MARION COUNTY! 🚨

Crossroads Fire & Rescue is proud to support Whitwell Fire Department as they take delivery of a Rescue/Hazmat truck generously donated by Ozone Environmental Services.

This truck’s primary purpose will be rescue operations, providing Whitwell Fire Department with valuable equipment and capabilities to assist with vehicle extrication, serious motor vehicle accidents, and other emergencies throughout the North End of Marion County.

As a secondary capability, the truck will provide basic hazardous materials containment and initial response support until additional specialized resources can arrive on scene.

This donation greatly improves emergency preparedness and strengthens the ability of Whitwell Fire and surrounding local agencies to work together during emergencies. Having these resources available locally means faster access to equipment, stronger mutual-aid capabilities, and better service to the communities we serve.

On behalf of Crossroads Fire & Rescue and the communities we serve, THANK YOU to Ozone Environmental Services for this generous donation and for investing in the safety and preparedness of our firefighters and citizens. 🚒👏

Working together, we can better serve Marion County!

Today, Crossroads Fire & Rescue responded to a chicken house fire alongside 8 area fire departments.
When the call came in, departments from across the area came together and operated as one unified team. Crews worked side-by-side to contain the fire, protect surrounding property, and keep the incident moving safely and efficiently.

This is what mutual aid is all about — departments putting differences aside, bringing their people and equipment together, and working toward the same goal: protecting our communities and each other.

We are proud to serve alongside the men and women of our neighboring departments. Today was a great example of teamwork, cooperation, and brotherhood.A huge thank-you to everyone who answered the call and helped today. We truly are stronger together.

8 Departments. One Team. One Mission.

Crossroads Fire & Rescue would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office for awarding us the grant that made it possible for our department to receive a new SCBA compressor/fill station!

This new equipment is a major investment in the safety of our firefighters and will help us continue providing the best possible service to our community for years to come. We are extremely grateful for the support and funding that makes improvements like this possible for volunteer fire departments.

We would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Tennessee Fire Equipment for their professional installation and the amazing service and support throughout the entire process. From start to finish, your team has been great to work with, and we truly appreciate everything you have done for Crossroads Fire & Rescue.

🎆🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Crossroads Fire and Rescue Department! 🇺🇸🎆
We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable Independence Day celebrating with family and friends!
If you're planning to enjoy fireworks tonight, please keep these safety tips in mind:
• Always have a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby.
• Never allow young children to handle or light fireworks.
• Light only one firework at a time and move away quickly.
• Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
• Keep spectators at a safe distance.
• Never use fireworks while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Soak used fireworks in water before throwing them away.
• Be mindful of dry grass and brush, as fireworks can quickly start fires.
Let's all do our part to keep our community safe while celebrating our nation's freedom.
From all of us at Crossroads Fire and Rescue Department, have a safe and Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸🚒🎇

⚠️ Use Extreme Caution on Alvin C. York Highway ⚠️

Heavy rains combined with loose gravel have created extremely dangerous driving conditions. Large pools of water—3 to 4 inches deep—are collecting in the grooved areas of the roadway, increasing the risk of hydroplaning and loss of control.

Your safety is important to us. Please slow down, allow extra stopping distance, and use extreme caution while traveling through this area
