As we wind down on a successful fundraiser we would like to thank everyone for their generosity! Not just during this event but every fundraising event throughout the 2026 Season! Without you there is no way we could operate and give the kids in our program the best time playing the best games!

Even though Double Good has extended our popcorn fundraiser, our original deadline was Monday, June 22nd at 5:00pm. In keeping with that original timeframe we are happy to announce that Cole Abenante of the 10U Cubs is the winner of the 4 Crosstown Classic tickets! Congratulations Cole!

This fundraiser was such a great success! We would like to thank everyone who participated, and those who supported their favorite player! We are almost at the $19,000 mark and hopefully we can reach $20,000 with the extended days Double Good has allowed us! Once again this money is earmarked for construction of tee ball dugouts, renovations to the back Softball Field and monetary assistance for our all star teams! Once again…THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

Set up your store, share it on social media and text your family and friends and you’re done! Funds raised will go towards improving our complex. This includes renovations to the back softball field. Help with All Star teams and the overall functionality of our program!

Alternatives to fundraising include raising registration fees and concessions prices. We absolutely HATE having to do that as we like to keep our prices as low as possible. It takes 10 minutes to set up a store and there’s nothing to lose and 4 hot tickets to win! Give it a try!

Lakeshore CRBR is teaming up with Double Good Popcorn to do a fundraiser starting TODAY through June 22nd! The funds will be used for a number of things including upgrades to our complex, help with our All Star teams and help with the overall cost of running our program. Other than our wonderfully gracious sponsors and grants we have applied for, we are a self-funded league.

And as a special incentive, the Lakeshore player that sells the most popcorn will receive 4 TICKETS to the White Sox vs. Cubs Crosstown Classic on Monday August 17th at beautiful Wrigley Field! Game time is 7:10pm!

As the weekend winds down and we all recover from the events attended, we would like to thank all of you who came out to our annual Spaghetti Cook Off and generously gave to our organization. We like to think of this as more than a fundraising function.

It is also a chance for all of our Tribe and Riptide families, young and old, to enjoy each other’s company in a non competitive setting. To build our organization and create relationships outside the game and strengthen our community! Thank you to all who came out!

Thank you to Coach Wendy. Who absolutely loves organizing this event! Thank you to our Board Members who do the heavy lifting and various tasks before, during and after the event! Thank you to our teams and Tribe Leaders who organize the team raffle baskets which are always amazing! Thank you to the Whiting Knights of Columbus for allowing us to use their facility! Thanks to Bryan Jimenez for all of the adult SWAG! Thanks to Jason Tokoly, Antonio Del Rio and Jo Ellen Sanders for their unwavering support and hard work! And thanks to those who stayed after to help us clean up the hall and pack things into vehicles!

Every year this event seems to grow and this year was no different! We think it’s something very special and much needed in these crazy times! Give yourself a standing ovation and THANK YOU for being a great family that stays strong long after the last out is recorded! Until next year…!
