⚠️ Weather Awareness Reminder ⚠️

With storms and high winds possible, it’s important for everyone to stay weather aware and take extra precautions outdoors.

🌳 Watch for Falling Trees & Branches
Strong winds can weaken or break tree limbs without warning. Avoid parking or standing under large trees during storms and be alert for debris on roadways.

⚡ Stay Away from Downed Power Lines
If you see a power line on the ground:
• Assume it is live and dangerous
• Stay at least 30 feet away
• Keep children and pets away
• Call 911 or your local power company immediately

🚗 Use Caution While Driving
• Watch for fallen trees, limbs, and debris
• Never drive over downed power lines
• Slow down and give emergency crews space to work

Your safety is our top priority. Stay alert, monitor local weather updates, and report hazards to authorities.

✅ If you see something unsafe, say something.

Just a quick weather heads up for today!

Middle Tennessee, including Sumner County and Robertson county is under a Slight Risk for severe weather today.

The main things storms could bring are damaging winds, heavy rain, and possibly some small hail. The tornado risk remains low for our area.

The latest high-resolution model guidance is showing two possible rounds of storms.

The first round could arrive early this afternoon around 1 PM. If this round becomes stronger, it may use up a lot of the energy in the atmosphere.

If that happens, storms later this evening could be weaker.

However, if the early storms stay scattered, we could see another round later this evening around 6–7 PM.

The most likely window for stronger storms looks to be between 1PM and 7PM.

Heavy rain will also be possible with some storms, and some areas could see around 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.

Stay weather aware today and be prepared if something does go wrong. Have everything charged and weather radios available.
