Are constant notifications, screens, and digital noise making it hard to slow down?

This summer, we challenge you to “Unplug to Recharge” by spending 30 minutes a day screen-free and outside exploring nature. Take the pledge at dupageforest.org/recharge.

Then, stop by one of our visitor centers or the DuPage Forest Preserve headquarters to pick up a free Unplug to Recharge sticker and cinch backpack while supplies last.

Pop-Up Program: Firefly Wagon Rides
Thurs., June 18
8:30 – 10 P.M.
St. James Farm Forest Preserve
$10/person (Registration required)

Visit a forest preserve after sundown to experience "nature's light show". This program will allow visitors of all ages to go on a wagon ride to view seasonal firefly displays and participate in fun crafts and interpretive activities. Visitors may bring a flashlight and wear bug spray. Please leave your dog and firefly jars at home.
