Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected late this evening through the overnight hours, with the greatest coverage near and south of Interstate 88. The strongest storms may be capable of locally gusty winds and small hail.

Free sandbags are now available in Panama City Beach ahead of the potential severe weather later this week. Pick up bags inside the Frank Brown Park Community Center at 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway. Sand and shovels are located outside. Limit 10 bags per household.

Our animals are counting on us. They need safe, quiet homes where they can ride out the storm away from the stress and uncertainty of a shelter during severe weather.
