Dynamic Life Development now seeks to help churches and other faith-based organizations develop ministry focused on the attitude of Jesus. This is a massive swing from a traditional model that focuses on events and messages. This does not mean that DLD does not encourage events or a robust Christ-centered message. It does mean that these things should be supplementary to believers forming communit

ies of communion. When this happens, Christians will focus their lives on demonstrating the sacrificial love of Christ to each other and the community surrounding them. DLD still maintains its unique emphasis on youth and young adults. Yet youth and young adults have drastically changed over the decades. Today they need adults who can invest in their long-term work of deliberate, consistent, authentic, and nurturing concern and care. The 20th-century ethos of bigger, faster, and splashier has failed. This is especially true with the most high-risk youth among us. These needs of the youth we serve have driven DLD to help the church truly become a chorus of support and a choir of commitment.
