Monday's Magical Moment: Rain didn’t stop John Hornstra from personally delivering 50 crates of milk straight from , bottled this morning, to support neighbors relying on our pantry to put food on the table. Hornstra Farms is a local treasure, keeping farming alive in our community and making THE BEST ice-cream! Today, they stepped up in big way, strengthening our community‑powered pantry and keeping fresh food flowing. Thank you! Theme for the week: Fresh local milk, full hearts, and a community that shows up no matter the weather.

We are filled with gratitude for the and their beautiful Acts of Kindness initiative. Thanks to their generosity, our young neighbors received Summer Fun Packs filled with water sq**rt toys, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, beach toys, stickers, sunblock, and more. These simple joys mean the world to families who are working hard to make summer special. Thank you for bringing smiles, play, and sunshine to our community.

This week in the garden we harvested Jilo eggplant, peppers, chives, parsley, and okra. The cabbages are sizing up beautifully, and we have plants laden with tomatoes that are going to be ripening in the next few weeks. It is a peaceful space to walk through, or bring your sandwich to have lunch under the tree.

What a day in the Weymouth Food Pantry garden. Perfect weather, bright smiles, and plants growing like they’re showing off. This little patch of earth is becoming a powerhouse of fresh, local food for our neighbors—and every blossom and sprout reminds us what community care looks like. Garden Volunteering Begins July 11!

We’re excited to kick off summer in the garden! Volunteering starts Saturday, July 11, from 8:30–10:30 AM at Old South Union Church.

Just drop in — no signup needed — and meet up with one of our garden leads to get started. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or brand‑new to gardening, there’s a place for you in this space.

Together, we’re growing something beautiful — and a stronger, healthier Weymouth. 💚🌿

Holiday Closure Notice

The Weymouth Food Pantry warehouse will be closed this Friday, and the Saturday Pop Up Pantry at Old South Union Church will also be closed in observance of the July 4th holiday.

Looking for something fun to do with the little ones this summer?
Our friends at the Weymouth Public Libraries - Fogg Library are hosting wonderful Saturday morning programs for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers — including Baby Butterfly Story Time and Mindful Little Ones Yoga.

These free programs are a great way for families to connect, learn, and play right here in Weymouth. If you or someone you know could use a little weekend enrichment for the kiddos, be sure to check it out!
