One Day. One Tournament. A Year of Impact!!!

The Makayla Fund Golf Tournament is almost here, and this is the one day each year that powers everything we do. In 2025, because of your support, we were able to put more than $40,000 into su***de awareness education across over 100 schools, giving students real tools, real conversations, and real hope. We also covered over $10,000 athletic fee scholarship, making sure kids could stay active, connected, and part of a team.

The demand keeps growing. More schools are asking for help. More families are reaching out. More students need support. This tournament is how we meet that need, and how we expand our reach even further.

If you’ve played before, sponsored before, donated before, or even just shared our mission, you’ve already made a difference. And we need you again.

Spring Athletic Scholarships are open!!!

Attention Massachusetts Families!

Is your child playing a junior high or high school sport this year?

The Makayla Fund Athletic Scholarship is here to help make that experience possible — and meaningful.

Since 2013, we’ve supported 350+ student-athletes across 15 Massachusetts schools and 4 full teams — all by helping remove the financial barriers that often stand in the way of participation.

What the scholarship covers:

School-required athletic expenses

Open to junior high and high school teams

No income threshold — we understand life brings unexpected challenges

To apply, students must:
1. Complete a short application
2. Write a brief essay on:
“How has sports and being part of a team helped you learn to manage your overall mental health”

We even have some included some helpful ideas to help the students with the essay!!! Listed on website
