iPhone - Overview of Standard (Preinstalled) Apps (Part IV)

This is the final session in our four-part series covering some of the apps preinstalled on the iPhone. Learn about any new features that Apple may have introduced with the latest iOS updates.
We will end our series with an overview of Health, Journal, Passwords, and Translate. The Health app is a useful tool for keeping track of your medical records and history. If you like keeping a journal or recording your travel adventures, you will want to learn about the Journal app. Keeping your passwords safe and handy, and using Passkeys is easier when using Apple’s password manager, Passwords. How about being able to translate text and conversation with one simple app? See how easy it is to use Apple’s Translator app installed on the iPhone. (Some translation capabilities are AI-powered and require the use of an iPhone 15 Pro or later model.)

iPhone - Overview of Standard (Preinstalled) Apps (Part III)

Zoom session

We continue with Part III of our discussion of a few more of the very useful apps that are automatically installed on every iPhone. Learn about any new features that Apple may have introduced with the latest iOS updates.
In this third part of our four-part series, we look at Notes/Preview, Reminders, Wallet, Calculator, and Calendar. See how to use Notes to stay organized, and to scan documents and text. Scanning and filing documents is also easy using Preview. Reminders can help you create grocery lists and keep you from missing important appointments or functions. Many brick and mortar stores and venues are going cashless (and ticketless) and welcome the use of ApplePay through Wallet. Store your tickets, courtesy cards, and Digital ID in Wallet for easy access. Learn to use the Calculator as a scientific calculator and a currency converter. An overview of using Calendar to keep track of important appointments and dates. See how the interface between the Calendar and Reminders apps works.
