Troop 100 wrapped up its final meeting of the year with an evening of achievement, recognition, and celebration!

Several Scouts completed their Scoutmaster Conferences and Board of Reviews, and we were proud to recognize a number of youth who earned awards and advanced in rank. Congratulations to all of our Scouts for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the ideals of Scouting.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the residents of Westport for their continued support of our bottle and can fundraiser at the Westport Transfer Station. Your generosity helps make our program possible and helps provide memorable experiences for our Scouts throughout the year.

A special thank you goes to the American Legion for graciously allowing Troop 100 to use their meeting hall. Their continued support of local youth and community organizations is deeply appreciated.

Most importantly, we thank our adult leaders and parents. The success of Troop 100 is built on the countless hours of volunteer service, planning, transportation, mentorship, and encouragement that you provide. Without your dedication, our troop would not be the thriving program it is today.

To celebrate another successful year of Scouting, we concluded the evening with an ice cream sundae party. Scouts, leaders, and families enjoyed some well-earned treats while reflecting on a fantastic year filled with adventure, learning, service, and friendship.

Thank you to everyone who helps make Troop 100 a place where young people can grow in character, leadership, and citizenship. We wish all of our Scouting families a safe and enjoyable summer and look forward to another great year ahead!

🇺🇸 Flag Day 2026 🇺🇸

Today, Scouts BSA Troop 100 was honored to join the American Legion in a solemn Flag Retirement Ceremony, respectfully retiring worn and unserviceable American flags.

Despite the hot June weather and the intense heat of the ceremonial fire, our Scouts stood proudly and persevered, understanding the importance of the task before them. Each flag represented the ideals, freedoms, and sacrifices that make our nation great, and our Scouts were proud to do their duty in ensuring these symbols of our country were retired with the dignity and respect they deserve.

As we celebrate Flag Day, we remember that the American flag is more than just a piece of cloth—it is a symbol of the courage, service, and sacrifice of generations of Americans.

Thank you to the American Legion for allowing Troop 100 to participate in this meaningful tradition and for their continued dedication to our veterans and community.

🇺🇸 Troop 100 Flag Retirement Ceremony 🇺🇸

Scouts BSA Troop 100 is honored to join the American Legion for this year's Flag Retirement Ceremony, respectfully retiring unserviceable American flags in accordance with the traditions and dignity they deserve.

Local residents are welcome to bring worn or damaged flags to the American Legion Hall before or during the event.

🚲🏕️ Troop 100 Takes on Block Island! 🏕️🚲

This past weekend, the Scouts of Troop 100 packed up their gear, loaded their bikes onto the ferry, and headed off for an unforgettable adventure on Block Island!

After setting up camp at Sandsland Campground, the troop spent the weekend exploring the island by bike. Along the way, we visited some of Block Island's most famous sights, including the South Lighthouse, the breathtaking Mohegan Bluffs, and even a fun stop at a local petting zoo.

The trip was filled with great rides, beautiful scenery, plenty of laughs, and memories that will last a lifetime. Most importantly, the Scouts demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and a spirit of adventure throughout the weekend.

A big thank you to all of the leaders, parents, and Scouts who helped make this trip a success. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we're already looking forward to our next adventure!

Today, Boy Scout Troop 100 was proud to take part in Westport’s Memorial Day ceremony at the Town Hall Annex. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Our Scouts are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside our community in paying respect to our veterans and fallen heroes.

Through Scouting, we teach our youth the importance of duty, citizenship, service, and respect for our country’s history and freedoms. Participating in ceremonies like today’s helps our Scouts understand the true meaning of patriotism and the sacrifices made to protect our nation.

Thank you to all veterans and service members for your courage and dedication. Troop 100 is honored to be part of this meaningful Westport tradition.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States, it is more important than ever to remember the sacrifices made by generations of Americans who defended our freedom and protected the values our nation was built upon.

Service, respect, and citizenship are at the heart of Scouting, and our Scouts were honored to take part in this meaningful tradition. We thank all veterans and military families for their service to our country.

May we never forget those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Fun is a huge part of the Scouting experience in Boy Scouts Troop 100! While Scouts learn leadership, teamwork, outdoor skills, and responsibility, they also build friendships and make lasting memories along the way.

At last night’s meeting, our Scouts took part in the Marshmallow Triathlon — a fun and fast-paced challenge full of laughs, teamwork, and friendly competition. Activities like these help keep meetings exciting while teaching problem-solving, communication, and perseverance in a fun environment.

Scouting is about adventure, learning, and having a great time together — and Troop 100 is always ready for the next challenge! ⚜️
