Yesterday, along with Skyview Elementary School, The Source was named West Virginia's "Hope for the Future: School-Business Partnership of the Year!" 🏆

We are so thankful for this great recognition, and we are looking forward to what's next for Skyview, The Source & our community 👏

Thank you to everyone who has come alongside The Source, as we continue to feed kids, empower families, and cultivate community! 💙

📢BIG news for Monongalia County Schools! 🎉

Congratulations to Skyview Elementary and The Source on being named West Virginia’s “Hope for the Future: School-Business Partnership of the Year!” 🏆

What began as a simple effort to fight food insecurity has grown into a life-changing partnership providing academic support, mentoring, enrichment opportunities, before- and after-school care, summer programming, and so much more for students and families.

Today, this incredible collaboration was recognized statewide with a $25,000 award — a testament to the power of community, compassion, and commitment to kids. ❤️

We are so proud of everyone who has helped build this partnership over the past 15 years and grateful for the lasting impact it continues to make in the lives of our students.

From all of us at The Source - we'd like to send a special thank you to all of our great volunteers who gave of their time to help pack Lunch Bags throughout this past school year so that kids throughout Monongalia County Schools can be fed 🫶

We couldn't do what we do at The Source without the people of this community, and we are so thankful you have chosen to come alongside us as we continue to feed children, empower families & cultivate community 🙌
