DC Everest Youth Baseball -Dceyb The D. C. Everest Youth Baseball organization is a community based organization that focuses on the youth development of baseball for the Everest Metro Area.

The DCEYB is non-profit and all board members, and appointees are all volunteers. The DC Everest Youth Baseball Organization (DCEYB) is a non-profit, established in 1960, volunteer organization whose mission is to support, organize, manage, teach, and develop high-quality baseball players, learning the benefits of teamwork and sportsmanship in an effort to be an affordable youth baseball program w

ithin the DC Everest Area School District. Our goals are to operate the best youth baseball program we can and to constantly improve every aspect of our program so as to benefit every player, parent, family member, coach, and visitor. This organization is completely volunteer-run. We are utilizing Venmo this year, in an effort to reduce our costs. -YouthBaseball

Each family is encouraged to volunteer time during the season in the concession stand or on-field maintenance. Athletes do not need to be a part of the DCE School district to play. Boys and Girls are encouraged to play baseball. Ages 4-14

Coaches are required to submit to a background check and complete training requirements through Cal Ripken/ Babe Ruth Baseball. Games are played from May 1 through August. Complete information can be found at: https://d-c-everest-youth-baseball.sportngin.com/home

You must be present, to be considered one of the top 6 players.

12U- 5:30 PM

11U- 5:45 PM

10U- 6:00 PM

9U- 6:15 PM

8U- 6:30 PM

13 &14 7:15 PM

Be there, at least 15 min early to warm up. You must bring your own glove, helmet and bat.
At registration you must choose what division, age and level you are trying out for.

Green teams usually play 6-8 tournaments each summer and travel up to 1-3 hours. Silver teams usually play 2-4 tournaments a summer and usually travel 1 hour away.

Teams will be determined by tryout scores and coaching availability.

Top 6 players will be offered green positions and the coaches assemble the rest of their team. All travel players must play DCE REC Ball too, except when DCE offers school ball, as in the case for 8th graders.

The Travel Ball season starts in January and includes winter workouts, regular practices, and competitive tournaments. The indoor tournament in March will be ages 9 & 11. Registration by invite only, after evaluations and team placement.

After a player is chosen for a team, player fees will be sent. In 2026 Green Players were $500 and Silver Players were $300. This may increase for the 2027 season.

Please share with younger families, as new 8U players are just beginning the process.

D.C. Everest Youth Baseball is a volunteer, nonprofit, dedicated to fostering a love of baseball in young athletes through skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our program offers players a supportive and competitive environment to grow both on and off the field.
