Good morning Connections! I hope this message finds you well! Tomorrow, June 3, we will not be having study due to some maintenance work going on at the restaurant. We will resume study again on June 10, next week. You all will be missed!
We want you to know that if you’re struggling with negative thoughts and other thoughts of taking your life, you do not have to struggle alone! There are numerous crisis centers, numbers, and websites out there for you to connect to and find help to walk through this time of life. It’s not easy! I, Amanda, get it! I also know that finding the right support system and the right people you need in your life can make all the difference! I have struggled since I was 14, 20 years, and the reason I’m still here is Christ alone! If it wasn’t for Christ, I wouldn’t have the support system that I do have. They’re there when I need them to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, just someone to listen to me and what’s going on. I encourage you to start searching for that safe person and or people. One way to do that is through the Bible study, through things like Celebrate Recovery, through different services at a church nearby, and most importantly to remember that you are a child of God and He gave his life for you! All you need to do is believe. Believe that Jesus came to this earth, lived perfect life, experienced a death, meant for sinners, and was raised to life in perfection in order to save you! When you put your faith and trust in Jesus and proclaim that you believe he did what he did and that God, who is there helping him is helping you, you may begin to find peace! Just cause you mess up doesn’t make it so that you can’t go to heaven. If anything it shows you are human and humans make mistakes! With that being said, if you haven’t already, I want to encourage you to put your faith interest in Christ and proclaim that he came, lived a perfect life, died a sinner‘s death, and was raised from the dead, back to life, going to heaven and giving us the opportunity to have heaven as our eternal home as well! If you need prayer or anything, feel free to reach out in the messages! There is a link below from last week, which has numerous numbers and some places in order to get the help that you might need. Just know that Connections loves you, believes in you, and wants to be with you in eternity when God calls us home! You got this! We love you!!!
