Thank you Council President for your continued support and for showing love to our community.

This past weekend we had another successful Fall Harvest Festival put on by the Norwayne Community Citizens Council. We had over 300 kids and families attend the festival. All the kids got to dress up in their favorite costumes and trick or treat through the Jefferson Barnes Community Center. They also got the chance to participate in a costume contest and show off their best costumes to win a prize. Families also got free c***r, donuts, and a pumpkin to go home with.

It's always a true treat to be able to put on these types of free, family fun events for kids and families across our community. The Fall harvest Festival is just one of the many free events that our Norwayne Community Citizens Council puts on throughout the year. I want to thank the entire Norwayne Citizens Council for all their hard work and planning that went into making this another great event. As well, thank Director Joanne Campbell, her staff, and all the other community volunteers who gave their time to volunteer and make the festival a success. It was great to be out there volunteering with Lekisha Maxwell for City Council at the event. We were also joined by John Sullivan for Westland City Council and Mayor Kevin Coleman. Thank you everyone for another successful and well attended Norwayne Fall Harvest Festival.
