Survey regarding trash collection service if you would like to fill out and share your experience.

🚨 Westland Residents: We Need Your Feedback on Trash Services 🚨

Over the past several months, I have heard from many residents about concerns with waste collection services, including missed trash and recycling pickups, delayed bulk item pickups, and issues with special large-item pickups.

To better understand the scope of these concerns and gather accurate information from across our community, I am asking residents to take a few minutes to complete a short survey.

All responses will be sent to the City of Westland Administration and the Members of the City Council for decisions.

🍎☀️ School may be out for summer, but nutritious meals are still on the menu!

Wayne-Westland Community Schools is proud to offer the Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Food Service Program for children and teens 18 years old and younger. Free, healthy meals will be available at multiple locations throughout the summer—no registration required.

Check out the graphic below for dates, times, and locations near you. We encourage families to take advantage of this valuable resource to help keep students healthy, active, and ready for another successful school year.

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the Norwayne Gardens season opener, and for creating new memories with us. It was a beautiful day spent with outstanding humans! We even had a few butterflies join us in the butterfly garden. Here is to a prosperous season ahead! Ms. Annette outdid herself on this gathering! It was truly beautiful.❤️🪴🫜 Special thanks to Councilman John Sullivan for taking time to visit our event, it was an extremely busy day in Westland! We truly appreciate it. Thank you to the Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency for their contribution keeps these valuable resources available to our community.
