Still looking for garden walk participants. Who has a lovely yard we can show case?

The Garden Club is looking for local residents who would like to feature their yard/garden in our 32nd Annual Garden Walk, Saturday July 11th 2026 from 9:30am - 2:30pm. Gardens can be flowers, plants or veggies, big yards or small yards, annuals or perennials, garden art, ponds, fancy or folky, crafty or cozy, pretty or cute. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Who doesn't want to spend a warm summer Saturday hearing from other gardeners how great their yard is looking? Calling all G.C. residents to take notice of the many beautiful yards in YOUR neighborhood. The Garden City Garden Club's Recognition Program is in full bloom June through August and we need you to nominate your neighbors. Do you have a neighbor who takes pride in their yard? Someone who has a well kept yard and works hard to make sure they have curb appeal for our community? Share their address with us so we can recognize them for a job well done. Send us a private message on our page with their address and we will make sure they know they are appreciated. Please do not post any address in comments, private message us only.

Show off your green thumb and share your slice of paradise by joining us. Whether you cultivate cozy flower beds, a vibrant vegetable patch or a relaxing backyard haven, Garden walkers would love to see your personal oasis.

Event date: Saturday July 11th, 2026
Hours: 9:30am to 2:30pm.
Perks: Share your passion, ideas and knowledge with the community, meet fellow gardeners, enjoy people strolling thru your yard, asking questions, telling you how pretty your yard is and praising you on a job well done.
