It was wonderful welcoming new members, reconnecting with familiar faces, and spending time with so many incredible women who make this organization so special.

The Advocates for Children committee of Westlake Women’s Club came together to support My Stuff Bags by sorting sizes and stuffing bags for children in crisis. Thousands of children rescued from abuse, neglect, and homelessness enter crisis shelters and foster care with nothing of their own and little hope for the future. Through duffel bags filled with new essentials and comforting items, My Stuff Bags helps restore dignity and offer hope to vulnerable children during difficult transitions 🤍

Westlake Women’s Club was proud to participate in last Saturday’s community event hosted by the City of Thousand Oaks at the Community Center on Moorpark Road.🍃

Under the leadership of Environment Committee Chair Patt Sendejas, our dedicated members —
Lyn Cotwright, Elisa Chaney, Agnes Peck, Silvia Scally (2025 Past President), and Petra Montante, Education Chair, generously gave their time to share the impact of the Club’s fundraising efforts.

It was an inspiring day alongside so many incredible nonprofit organizations, all committed to supporting education and caring for our environment.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with the community and continue our mission of giving back.

🌿 Special thanks to Armstrong Garden Centers for the beautiful orchid, and Ace Hardware for the milkweed plant supporting monarch butterflies for our opportunity drawing.
