Research shows that poor mental health may increase vulnerability to trafficking, due to factors such as reduced decision-making capacity or understanding and increased dependence on others.

The impact of human trafficking goes far beyond exiting. Nearly every survivor faces serious mental health challenges, ranging from depression to PTSD, and many needed support long before they were ever exploited.

At Freedom Collective, we believe fighting human trafficking means showing up for the long road of restoration, not just the moment of initial response.

Because real freedom looks like:
