What a meaningful few days in Washington, D.C.

We had the opportunity to attend the Major Gift Summit at the beautiful Museum of the Bible—and came home with pages of notes, fresh ideas, and a lot to think about.

More than anything, the experience was a reminder that fundraising is about people first. It’s about relationships, shared values, generosity, and inviting others into work they genuinely care about.

At The Freedom Collective, that means inviting people to come alongside our mission to help create pathways to freedom, opportunity, and a brighter future for those we serve. Every relationship and every gift has the potential to help make that mission possible.

The ToGether Free gala is a night that matters greatly to The Freedom Collective. Something special happens when people are gathered in a room, uniting for one purpose- and for us, that is to bring freedom.

Recovery doesn't stop when the workday ends, and neither do our Resident Assistants.

Serving during evenings and weekends, our RAs in Ohio and Florida help create the safe, stable, and nurturing environment that makes healing possible at The Freedom Collective. From supporting daily routines and household operations to providing emotional and spiritual encouragement, they walk alongside residents through every step of their journey.

Their presence brings consistency, compassion, and care to our safe homes, helping residents feel supported, seen, and empowered as they work toward lasting freedom.

We are grateful for the dedicated individuals who help turn our house into a place of hope, healing, and transformation every day.

At The Freedom Collective, healing is never one-size-fits-all. Our Safe Home Case Manager walks alongside each survivor providing individualized, trauma-informed support throughout their recovery journey.

From coordinating essential services and resources to building strong community partnerships, they help ensure every survivor receives the holistic care needed to heal, grow, and thrive. Their dedication creates a bridge between where someone is today and the future they're working toward.

At The Freedom Collective, we know the sacrifice it costs to maintain our freedom.
