Food reclamation volunteers needed! 🍎🥬🍞🍗
Last year, 47% of the food we provided to our neighbors in need came from food reclamation. This is food that is no longer sell-able, but still perfectly edible. Food reclamation keeps good food out of landfills and gets it to the vulnerable people in our communities who need it the most!

How it works: On their designated week, volunteers go to their assigned store to pick up food and deliver it to the Pantry. For example: Volunteer Vivian goes to Store A on the first Friday of each month. She loads the prepared food boxes into her vehicle and delivers it to the Pantry. This commitment is once a month for a full year, and training is provided at the store assigned to you. In less than 24 hours spread over a year, you could save tons of food from landfills and get it to our neighbors in need. All necessary training will be provided.

What are the requirements:
☑️Be able to lift multiple boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
☑️Have a larger vehicle (minivan, SUV, station wagon).
