The Westborough Civic Club is a registered non-profit organization established in 1975 for the sole purpose of benefiting the Town of Westborough and its residents. The Club is composed of civic-minded men and women from all walks of life who derive satisfaction through personal participation in addressing the needs of the town and its residents in a dynamic, social, community-based organization.

If you missed our May fishing challenge but are interested in learning 🎣 to fish Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife has other events.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Come to one of our upcoming learn to fish events! We’ll have equipment on hand for use, as well as terminal tackle, and live bait. You’ll learn the basics including casting and baiting and you will have a chance to cast a line and practice fishing.

Your tree🌲 dollars at work! Proceeds from out annual Tree sale have funded five $1,000 scholarships for Westborough residents graduating this year from Westborough High School.

Scholarships were awarded to (front row) Daeyhoung Seo, Rebeca Castro Pires. Vedika Soneji, and Nimish Kunte. Prisha Konduru was also awarded a scholarship but was unavailable for the picture. Assisting in the presentations were (back row) Tom Dwyer (Civic Club Secretary), George Grosner (Civic Club President), Allison Borchers (Superintendent), and Mark Lippitt (Civic Club Treasurer).

Congratulations to the scholarship recipients and all the graduating seniors. The Civic Club wishes you all the success, happiness, and adventure the future has to offer.

Westborough Garden Club annual plant sale fundraiser Sat morning 5/16. Hastings school (-same location as Civic Club Christmas tree sale.)

Westborough Garden Club volunteers create and maintain 24 beautiful gardens and planters around town like this one at the Post Office. The club holds its annual plant sale this Saturday morning, 9:00 - 11:30am at the Hastings School - 111 East Main St. Proceeds from the sale allow the club to continue to beatify the town of Westborough. Come find a plant to fill that hole in your garden. You’ll like the prices too.

Thank you to our Director of Planning, Jenny Gingras, and Assistant Town Planner, Kristen Belanger, for serving as guest speakers at the Westborough Civic Club’s monthly meeting at Cold Harbor Brewing Company.
Jenny and Kristen delivered an engaging and informative presentation, covering the history of zoning, its role in community planning, the function of the Planning Board, how it collaborates with other boards and departments, the approval process, and how residents can make their voices heard.
