This week we were due to test this but it was needed for an event so instead we are testing this new 2026 . You can never complain about its 480hp and sub 4 second acceleration specially that it's full second quicker than iX3 last week with similar hp ? What gives ? Yes larger heavier battery is one element on the bimmer. Too bad Kia cancelled EV6 in Canada including its GT version which was in direct competition with this Ford. Ioniq5N remains on sale of course so this is what we ll compare it with I guess ? The new EV5GT only has 288hp so nowhere near the EV6GT it replaces. Something tells me BMW tuned down performance of this 50 model to make space for coming soon with sub 4sec acceleration and 604hp. Still impressive that Ford can manage same with 125hp less!

Wow that was reasonable at Tesla SC this am at 40c per kwh ! Last night's final result of hypermile is below first section 100km along the shore of Georgian Bay and later back to TO with 3 passengers and climate in use mostly sideroads with a quick section on 400 from hwy 9 to 401 . 2027 . Looking forward to testing other versions soon !

Another hypermile today from Midland to Collingwood and later back to TO using sideroads . Ideal conditions with up to 23c outside and calm winds. 2027 hoping to beat previous 16kwh per 100km result today . GOM getting ever so closer to the magic 700km rated range after our testing efforts.
