Charities supported by the West Windsor Lions Club include
supporting research at the University of Medicine and Dentistry
to find cures for eye diseases; assisting students at the Katzenbach School for the Deaf; supporting summer camps for the blind and disabled

Congratulations to Evan G. Millinger for winning the West Windsor Lions Club’s Community Service award given this year in honor of Lion Malcom B Roszel. One student is selected for this award every year amongst both high schools combined.

Lion Malcom B Roszel was one of the most eminent West Windsor residents. Coming from a family who have been in West Windsor since the time of American revolution, Malcom served in United States Air Corp flying B-17, he flew 35 missions over Europe during WWII including two missions on D-Day. He was also Mayor of West Windsor for nine years, a successful professional and an inspiring philanthropist who was affiliated with numerous volunteer organizations.

Evan G. Millinger, alongside outstanding academic achievement, has devoted significant time to serving as a junior firefighter, completing advanced training in firefighting, HAZMAT response, emergency preparedness, and drone operations. He has been recognized as one of the top responders in his department and honored with the Charlie Appelget Chief’s Award. Evan’s efforts to support disaster readiness and community resilience, combined with his strong service mindset and leadership, truly reflect the Lions motto, “We Serve.”

West Windsor Lions Club HSN Scholarship

Congratulations to Isabel Antonia Fraser Becerra for winning the West Windsor Lions Club scholarship award for High School North.

Isabel maintained a stellar academic record and took leadership roles in Art Club and Debate Club. She led the relief efforts during the 2024 fires in Valparaíso, Chile, where she helped rebuild homes and restore hope to affected communities. Isabel has further demonstrated exceptional commitment to community service through teaching, mentoring children and coaching tennis.

Congratulations to Seiji Yoshihira for winning the West Windsor Lions Club scholarship award for High School South. Seiji will be attending Carnegie Mellon University in the fall semester.

Seiji maintained a stellar academic record while winning multiple community service awards, leading the school tennis team, winning economics and trading tournaments. leading tutoring program for underprivileged children, assisting autistic children with sports coaching, while working as a research analyst for a Futures trading firm.

Rise Against Hunger.

WW Lions Club, thanks to a generous donation by Abha Sharma and Suyog Gandhi , and fundraising by Leos raised money to provide 10,000 meals. Step for a Better World Leos and members of public volunteered for many hours to pack these meals at the WW Volunteer Fire Company. Heartfelt thanks to DG John JD Schweska and SVDG Peter Twill for coming for the entirety of the event and help substantially with meal packing.

West Windsor Lions Club also got recognized for procuring and packing 100,000 meals cumulatively over the past years.

“White Cane Fundraiser” at McCaffrey's Food Markets
Saturday, May 9th, 9 am - 5 pm

White cane, for the past hundred years has symbolized the mobility and independence of visually impaired. Helen Keller gave the Lions Club a mission - “to be the knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness”. West Windsor Lions Club is doing its biannual fundraising outside McCaffrey's Food Markets at West Windsor (335 Princeton Hightstown Rd, West Windsor Township). 100% of this fundraiser will go towards charity. Packed into two hours, truly diverse performances representing cultures from all over the world - Latin America, China, Philippines, US, India….. organized by the Lions Club initiative "Cultures in Motion” to raise funds for Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), West Windsor Lions Club is honored to have been chosen as the host town for this energetic, uplifting show.

Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), established since 1968, has been impacting lives across globe by making humanitarian grants. 100% of the donations to the foundation are given directly to humanitarian projects.
