Inn Ministries

Inn Ministries We are a refuge for the hurting through our school, church, and outreach programs. The Inn had its beginnings in the early 90′s.

Our main focus was and continues to be the unchurched members of our community: San Cristóbal Verapaz, Guatemala. We emphasize Christ centered family relationships, work related relationships and community relationships. We have concentrated our efforts on long range programs, such as education and community involvement, building a trust level with the local authorities and business establishments

, which in turn opens doors enabling us to minister effectively in our society. Although we hold worship services here at the Inn, we don’t consider them to be our end; rather a means by which to equip the believers to be life givers in their neighborhoods. In September of 1993 we purchased one acre of land on which to build the Inn, a refuge for those that find themselves beaten down on the Jericho Road. God has been faithful to bring many friends and neighbors to our gate for spiritual and emotional healing. The number of Inn Keepers has greatly increased since those small beginnings in 1993 ever expanding our circle of influence.

After 21 days of fasting and prayer, we gathered as a community to celebrate what God has been doing and to renew our hearts for what lies ahead.

That same evening, we also opened the doors of Bistro El Panzón—a space that represents so much more than a new place. It is the result of a shared vision, many hands at work, and people who chose to walk alongside us to help make it possible.

It was a night of prayer, gratitude, celebration, and community.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Today, we celebrate all that God has done so far and look forward with joy to all that is still ahead.

Some people may never fully know how far their influence will reach.

Every day, Miss Itamar walks alongside children who are learning much more than how to read and write. In these early years, character, confidence, and faith are being shaped too.

This is Itamar. And hers is one of the many stories being written every day at El Mesón.

Because investing in the next generation begins with people willing to walk alongside them.

Every family is writing a story that someone else will continue.

Values. Habits. Stories. Faith.

That’s why we create spaces to pause, learn, and have conversations about what we want to pass on to those who come after us.

Because what we cultivate in our homes today can continue bearing fruit long after us.

One family. One generation. One story at a time.

Today, they’re simply a group of people gathered around a fire.

But in just a few weeks, they’ll be together in Ecuador, serving families and sharing an experience that will take them far beyond this moment.

That’s why preparation also looks like this:

Time to get to know one another.
To listen.
To pray together.
To learn how to walk as one team.

The journey to Ecuador will begin soon.
But part of the mission is already happening right here. 🇬🇹 → 🇪🇨

It began with a simple dream: to create a place where people could gather, share a meal, have meaningful conversations, and know they belong.

Today, when we look around the Bistro, we don’t just see a place.

We see people. Friendships. Conversations. Stories being written.

And that may be one of the most beautiful parts of following where God leads: watching a dream become a place where others can find connection, community, and a place to belong.

Some of the most meaningful conversations begin around a table.

Tonight, here in Guatemala, families gathered again to share a meal, spend time together, listen, and make room for conversations that matter.

But we believe God can use moments like these to strengthen relationships, shape homes, and leave an impact that reaches far beyond tonight.

One table. Many stories. Generations to come.

Around a fire.
Sharing stories. Praying together. Preparing to serve.

In just a few weeks, this team will leave Guatemala for Ecuador to serve at a family camp, becoming the second team we’ve had the privilege of sending.

We don’t know all the stories God will write along the way, but we’re grateful to watch this team prepare to say yes and go together. 🇬🇹🇪🇨🤍

For the past several weeks, our Colegio Mesón students have been practicing, competing, encouraging one another, and representing their school with joy.

Today, that journey led them to the finals—and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them.

Our boys finished in first place, and our girls in third!

These are the moments we love sharing from Guatemala: young people growing, friendships being strengthened, and a community cheering them on every step of the way.

We’re grateful to God for the opportunity to be part of their story.

And we can’t wait to see where He takes them next. 🤍

Long before a child learns to lead others… they first learn to hide God’s Word in their heart.

This week, our students participated in Colegio Mesón’s first Bible Bee—a celebration of Scripture and the incredible work God is doing in the lives of the next generation.

Because we believe the truths they treasure today will help guide them for a lifetime.
