WMAAC Attends the 50th Southwest Regional Conference Recap
Members of the West Memphis Area Alumnae Chapter proudly represented our chapter at the 50th Southwest Regional Conference of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., held June 4–7, 2026, in Grapevine, Texas. This historic conference brought together thousands of Sorors from across the Southwest Region for a powerful experience centered on sisterhood, service, leadership, and organizational excellence.
Throughout the conference, WMAAC members participated in inspiring plenary sessions, educational workshops, regional business meetings, and celebrations recognizing outstanding achievements across the region. Sorors gained valuable knowledge, leadership development opportunities, and programmatic insights that will strengthen our chapter’s ability to serve Crittenden County.
The conference also provided an opportunity to reconnect with Sorors from across the region, celebrate our shared commitment to Delta’s mission, and honor the rich legacy of the Southwest Region as it marked this significant 50th conference milestone. WMAAC was especially proud to witness and celebrate the many accomplishments recognized during the Regional Awards presentations, which highlighted the impactful work being done throughout the region.
As we return home, we do so energized, inspired, and prepared to continue advancing Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust through impactful service, advocacy, scholarship, and sisterhood. The knowledge gained, relationships strengthened, and memories created during this conference will undoubtedly help propel WMAAC forward as we continue our commitment to serving the West Memphis area with excellence.
WMAAC represented with pride, embraced the spirit of sisterhood, and returned ready to continue making a lasting impact in our communities.
