Don't forget the road closure tomorrow. Chances are good that you may not be able to turn into our drive easily due to the increased traffic. Don't fret. Just keep going down HWY 77 until you can safely turn around and come back.

State Highway 77 road closing:

Closing on 10/7/2026 and re-opening in mid-2028

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is beginning the next phase of construction on a project to improve traffic flow and safety along
Highway 77 near the Interstate 40 (1-40)/Interstate 55 (1-55) interchange in West Memphis.
Weather permitting, Highway 77 will be closed to through traffic between 1-40 and Highway 191 (North 7th Street) beginning Wednesday, October 7.
Highway 77 is expected to reopen in mid-2028.
Highway 77 traffic will be detoured to the newly constructed Highway 191 (North 7th Street). See detour map NR 26-156-A for more information.
Access to local businesses along Highway 77 will be maintained while the detour is in place.
The closure allows crews to construct the new
Highway 77 railroad overpass and associated roadway improvements. Motorists should expect significant changes to the current traffic pattern in the area.
Traffic will be controlled with the use of electronic message boards, barrier walls, barricades, and signage. Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.

Several of us from Hope House spent the morning with the good people of Anthonyville. One of our valuable volunteers, Charles Eason , was being honored as the fire chief there with a 5k. We were happy to come out and help celebrate. We love the people of Anthonyville and we love you Chief!

While we are thankful for the kind words, we are not associated with the mobile distributions in Earle or Turrell in any way. We are also thankful for Southland Casino Hotel donation of a walk in freezer/cooler. It allows us to provide perishable food the 1000+ client families we serve each month.
