Today, members of the Crittenden County Multidisciplinary Team had the privilege of adding 10 marbles to our jar. Each marble represents a year that a child predator was sentenced to spend in prison. After a trial last week, a child s*x trafficker was sentenced to 10 years in prison with 5 years post release supervision and a mandatory s*x offender registration. Thank you to the Crittenden County Prosecutor’s Office, the West Memphis Police Department, and the staff of Mending Hearts Child Safety Center for all of your hard work on this case and to the judge and jury for getting another predator off the streets of our community!

Join us as we celebrate our amazing Forensic Interviewer, Sarah Drake Gilmer! Sarah is retiring from the CAC world after 11 years as our Lead FI. Sarah provided forensic interviews for 1,053 kids during her years at Mending Hearts! She has made a huge impact in so many cases and investigations, giving kids a safe space to tell their stories of abuse. Sarah, thank you for the difference you have made! You will be greatly missed!

We always have people ask how they can help our center serve the kids that we do! We have served 234 kids so far this year! That’s a lot of snacks! Any donations are greatly appreciated!
