Please limit outdoor activities if possible this week. If you must be outside:
**Remember-children do not sweat and have a harder time regulating body temperature**
•Drink lots of water and/or electrolyte replacement drinks.
•Take frequent breaks from the heat.
•Wear cool clothing to protect you from direct sun.
•If you have headaches, nausea/vomiting and stop sweating please seek medical attention.
•Keep pets indoors and do not walk them on hot pavement.
**CHECK VEHICLE and do NOT leave children or pets inside**

Early morning training! Some of our CCSAR team spent the early hours searching for a "missing person with injuries" in the woods. Continous training on perimeter searches, grid searching, compass navigation, first aid, splinting and victim extraction keeps us ready for real life circumstances. Thank you Gary DePew for letting us train in your woods!!! As always, today is a great day to join our volunteer team.
