🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

This morning, West Islip SEPTA stopped by all of our schools with a sweet treat for our amazing teachers and staff!

We “Donut” know what we would do without you. Thank you for the care, dedication, patience, and support you give our students each and every day. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so grateful for all that you do.
Have a hole lot of fun today—you’ve earned it! 🍩💙💛

Resource sharing: This is a really fun program for the kids (K-6) to socialize and meet their sensory needs in a small group setting. And it’s local! Everything you don’t want your kids to play with in the house because of the mess (water, bubbles, play doh, painting, legos etc). Sign ups are through the library, either online or by calling the children’s room. Not a drop-off event.

What an incredible two days of creativity, connection, and kindness! 💛💙🎨

On May 21 & 22, West Islip SEPTA proudly hosted our Create with Kindness event at the high school, where students came together to help paint beautiful murals designed by our talented National Art Honor Society students.

This event was more than just art — it was about building relationships, spreading kindness, growing together as a community, and creating something meaningful that future generations of students will see for years to come.

A huge thank you to the National PTA for this amazing grant opportunity and to everyone who helped support, participate, paint, encourage, and make this event such a success. We are so proud of what our students created together!
