Our ADAP Paint Party on Oct. 24 was, as usual, so very enjoyable! Here are comments from some of the participants (who are artists in their own right):
"I really enjoy the paint parties. That's prime "me time", no pressure or expectations, just a chance to hang out with old friends, make new ones, enjoy food that I didn't have to fix myself. It just feels really good to connect with people. I just wish we could have them once a month!"
"Well as usual I "loved it". I'm 82 years old , can't draw,cut or paint a straight line, but really enjoy trying my hand at coming to this class.
Everyone is so nice and helpful. Always look forward to another class. 😊"
"Great! I appreciated the variety of pictures to paint. The ambiance was great. This was my second time but I always meet new people. I also appreciated the help and advice while I was painting."
"I had such a wonderful time at the paint party painting books on a table with a teacup on top! There’s something special about taking a little time for yourself, letting your creativity flow, and just enjoying the moment, this was such a fun experience!
Even if every brushstroke isn’t perfect, that’s part of the beauty of creating something yourself. It’s not just about the finished painting; it’s about the laughter, the experience, and the memories made along the way. I am looking forward to the next one. ❤️"
