Meet Cassie Knestaut, one of this year's Dancing with the Gloucester County Stars participants!

Cassie is dancing for the Miss West Deptford Scholarship Pageant, an organization she has been part of for more than 20 years. A former titleholder, committee member, and social media coordinator, she is passionate about helping provide scholarship and leadership opportunities for young women in our community.

A lifelong dancer and dance instructor, Cassie is stepping out of her comfort zone and into the world of ballroom dance for a great cause.

The 2026 pageant will be taking place on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at West Deptford Middle School. All young women who reside in West Deptford Township between the ages of 4-23 are eligible to apply. Despite the rain, our queens spent Memorial Day honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It was a beautiful day of remembrance and community!

It has been a busy weekend so far for our queens! Last night, we held our annual Gift Card Bingo fundraiser at West Deptford Middle School. It was such a fun night filled with lots of prizes won! Thank you to all that supported by coming out last night or donating to the event!

This morning, our queens helped out at the 10th annual Walt Pierson 5K Race down at Riverwinds as well! They did a great job serving refreshments and handing our medals to the participants!

This past weekend was a big weekend for our Miss West Deptford, Madison, who not only had her Senior Athlete Banquet and Nurse Pinning Ceremony, but also just graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing! Madison, we are so proud of you in all that you have accomplished over the past 4 years at Wingate University. Your drive and commitment have made you such an excellent role model for all of our younger queens! We wish you nothing but success in all of your future endeavors! 🩵👑
