Just a friendly reminder, our next community club meeting is November 2 at 6 PM at the Methodist Church. Last meeting of the year before we will have our December holiday meal. We will be handing out our yearly raffle tickets to the members this is really our only fundraiser all year long which helps support lots of good things for our community. Those being Christmas baskets, Easter egg hunt, senior scholarships, Fourth of July celebration, stars and stripes flags for the Town, after prom funding, Free Clinic funding, shop with a cop and numerous other events during the year. Basically anything that helps our community be the wonderful place it is. Hoping all the members can make it to this meeting. If not, your tickets will be mailed to you and I’m sure they’ll be some places around town where businesses will also be selling them, winners will be announced the first Monday evening in December at our holiday meal dinner at the Methodist Church. We also need to get all of our business of the year nominees sent to me. Businesses with four or less employees will be taking home their award for small business. Those businesses with more than four employees in the Union County school district will be taking home the large business of the year award. Just give me a call or private message and I will be happy to add your request to the ones I’ve been receiving. As always, new members are always welcome. Hope you all can make it on November 2nd.
