Cincinnati Div. 7 welcomes new & experienced model railroaders in the Cincinnati, OH Tri-State region who are looking to meet with other modelers to learn & share in-depth model railroading experiences. Division 7’s membership area is the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State region, encompassing parts of SW Ohio (Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, and Warren counties), Northern Kentucky (Boone, B
racken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson counties), and SE Indiana (Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland, and Ripley counties). The Greater Cincinnati area is well known in the model railroad community as the home of interesting railroad attractions and many spectacular model railroads, with quite a few having been featured in Kalmbach Publishing’s Great Model Railroads. OUR MISSION
Division 7’s mission is to educate about & promote model railroading in all scales & disciplines. We welcome new and experienced model railroaders in all scales and gauges who are looking to meet other modelers, learn, and share model railroading experiences. We are actively involved in model railroading community service projects such as providing books to local libraries and organizing and sponsoring the Cincinnati Model Train & Trade Show every October. Division 7 meets at 2:00PM on the second Sunday of most months throughout the year. We meet at various locations around the Greater Cincinnati region. Meetings generally include business meeting, themed modeling & photo contests, raffle, hobby-related presentation, and home layout tours. Visitors are welcomed and encouraged to attend a meeting to see what we’re all about -- Bringing new modelers to the model railroading community is critical to the health and sustainability of the hobby!
