Mahjong, laughter, and giving back—it doesn’t get much better than that! 🀄💙

We loved welcoming so many first-time and veteran players for an evening all in support of ACTnow. A special thank you to Stefanie Ott for sharing her expertise and making the game approachable for everyone.

Every tile played helped support ACTnow’s mission to connect our neighbors in need with existing support services and to fill gaps in services. Bringing people together over a shared experience can make a meaningful difference in our community!

The next Mahjong evening is Wednesday, September 23 - registration is open now at assistingnow.org!

What does the pathway to permanent housing look like?

In 2025:
➡️1,047 households were referred to Street Outreach
➡️648 individuals across 486 households received emergency housing
➡️1,096 households were discussed during Case Conferencing by 101 staff members representing 33 providers
➡️382 individuals exited homelessness and moved into permanent housing

These numbers highlight the coordinated efforts happening every day across Chester County to connect people with housing, services, and support.
