Our 2026 Aftercare Industry Month, presented by Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation, concluded last night with "Legalities & Realities of Equine Welfare," featuring Erin Clemm Ochoa of Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Sarah Coleman of Kentucky Horse Council, and Jennifer Toussaint of Arlington County Animal Control.

This was one of our best-attended sessions, and our panelists did a great job of tackling this sensitive subject, peeling back the emotional and legal layers involved with equine welfare cases.

We want to extend a big thanks to all of our AIM panelists for 2026, as well as to TERF, whose grant made this great month of information-sharing possible for the aftercare industry!
