💡 Did you know?

If you're considered 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 and have a state-regulated insurance plan in Pennsylvania, you're eligible for free breast MRIs, ultrasounds, and BRCA-related genetic testing and counseling — with no co-pays, no deductibles, and no co-insurance.

You're considered 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 if you have:
• A family or personal history of breast cancer
• Dense breast tissue
• A BRCA gene mutation
• A history of chest radiation
• Other risk factors as determined by your doctor

This life-saving coverage became law through PA Senate Bill 8, signed in 2023.

Connect Thru Cancer is honored to continue the legacy of 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 through our annual Memorial Scholarship. Each year, we award a minimum $𝟐,𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫.

CTC is so grateful to have been selected as the beneficiary of the 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 held on September 23rd and 25th. This incredible event raised $30,000, which will be used to provide FREE cancer support services and resources to individuals and families affected by a cancer diagnosis.

“We are so honored and grateful to once again be chosen as the beneficiary of this incredible tournament,” said Colleen Bucci, Executive Director. “The Chester Valley Women’s Golf Association continues to make such a meaningful impact through the time, dedication, and generosity they pour into this event. We are very appreciative of their ongoing partnership and the difference their support makes for our organization and the community we serve.”

🍁 Join Connect Thru Cancer for a fun fall morning at Highland Orchards! 🍁

Enjoy a special Cancer Connect on Saturday, October 17th, featuring an hour-long private hayride through the beautiful orchard, followed by time to feed the animals. Take in the fall scenery and enjoy some autumn fun with family and friends!

Brave Kids & Co. is offering a small peer support group for children (ages 7-10) who have a loved one diagnosed with cancer. Kids will connect with others, learn healthy coping skills, and have a safe space to express their emotions.
