๐ฎ๐ฅ What an incredible day! ๐ฅ๐ฎ
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out on Saturday, 9/13, and helped make our very first Call of Duty Tournament a tremendous success!
๐๏ธ Sponsored by the Lima American Legion Post 282, this $1,000 Call of Duty Tournament brought together gamers, veterans, families, and supporters from across the region for an unforgettable day of competition and camaraderie. Seeing so many people come together and support this event was absolutely amazing.
โค๏ธ The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive.
One thing we heard time and time again from players stepping into an American Legion Post for the very first time was how welcomed they felt. As a Legion Post, that means the world to us. Creating a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and part of something bigger is exactly what we strive to do, and we're proud that so many people experienced that firsthand.
๐ We also received plenty of great suggestions and ideas to make the next tournament even bigger and better. This was only the beginning, and we are excited about what the future holds.
๐ค A special thank you to Livingston County, New York Veteran Services for their continued support and for always standing behind veterans and veteran-focused programs. Your commitment to our community does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for your partnership.
๐ป We would also like to give a huge shoutout to Chris Entxurage Earl and Regiment and a very special thank you to Arpit Manaktala and the entire team at Paradox Customs.
Your generosity, support, and willingness to help made a tremendous difference in the success of this event, and we truly appreciate everything you do for our veteran community.
๐ฅ๏ธ Every computer seen in these photos was custom built by the team at Paradox Customs, and their craftsmanship and commitment have helped make our vision a reality.
๐ฎ But this tournament was about much more than gaming.
It was about bringing people together, creating friendships, strengthening camaraderie, and showing that no one has to stand alone. Seeing people travel from across the region, share laughs, compete, and simply enjoy being together was a powerful reminder of what community is all about.
๐ What we witnessed on Saturday is exactly why we do this. By supporting events like these, you're helping create opportunities for connection, belonging, and support for veterans, families, and gamers alike.
Together, we're building something special, and we're just getting started.
โค๏ธ Thank you to everyone who believed in this event, supported our mission, and helped turn an idea into an unforgettable experience.
๐ฎ This was only the beginning. We can't wait to bring everyone together again for the next tournament and continue building something special with this community. ๐ฎ
