The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 "to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all." ADL builds bridges of communication, understanding, and respect among diverse groups, carrying out its mission through a network of 25 Regional and Satellite Offices in the United States and abroad.

“ Let's be clear: the issue is not just antisemitic rhetoric and actions, but the tolerance of antisemitism by others: the handwaving away of antisemitic tropes, the dismissiveness towards inciting rhetoric, the adoration of problematic figures, the demand to fall in line at the expense of communal safety and the overwhelming silence from those who should know better. When politicians normalize prejudice against any community, they weaken the principle that every Michiganian deserves equal dignity and protection.”
