Freedom Partriots Hockey is a youth hockey team in the Lightning High School Hockey League made up of students zoned for Freedom, Gaither, Wharton, Leto, and Chamberlain high schools.

UNDEFEATED WEEKEND. 💪🏒🥅🇺🇸

Freedom Hockey showed what grit, discipline, and heart look like from start to finish this weekend, capping it all off with a hard-fought win over an undefeated East Lake Minor team in our final regular season game. Nothing was given — every shift was earned.

Huge respect to East Lake for bringing the intensity and competing the right way. Great teams bring out the best in each other, and this was a battle built on toughness, effort, and sportsmanship.

Now it’s time to lock in. The regular season is behind us, and Freedom Hockey is ready for the TSHL playoffs. Let the work continue. 🤜🏻🤛🏻💪🏻

Our own Coach Whitaker being recognized on the NHLcoaches page today as one of the newest members of the NHLCA Female Coaches Program!

The caption says the coaches being recognized are “establishing strong cultures, guiding development and shaping the game from its foundation” at the youth hockey level. They certainly selected the right Coach to highlight for those actions!

Huge thank you to Top Shelf Sports Lounge for hosting 56 members of the Freedom Hockey family for an incredible lunch between the Minor and Major games today! 🍔🥗
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was awesome, and it was the perfect way to bring our team community together between games. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and support! 🇺🇸🏒

So grateful for everyone who came out for the Freedom Hockey Alumni Game yesterday! 🏒 Huge thank you to all the players and alumni who laced up their skates and made it such a great game. The sportsmanship, camaraderie, and love of the game were on full display, and most of all, it was just fun to be back on the ice together.

Once a Patriot, always a Patriot—thanks for making it unforgettable!
