Hello Everyone, we are still in need of volunteers at Breakjng Bread for Jesus;

Sundays 10/25, 11/29, 12/20 12/27 the times we need for Sundays are 2pm til 6pm. We serve 4pm til 5pm

Saturdays 10/31., 11/21., 11/28., 11/26. The times for arrival 8am til 1pm. We serve from 11til 12:30.

Friday after Thanksgiving we could also use extra hands from 8 am til 1pm.

What do volunteers do you ask? we prepare 250 delicious meals everyday, serve our guest and clean up.

We may be a blessing for those that we serve but our volunteers are blessed as well. In the first meals we served we had our guest go through a meal line it was evident majority of them struggled with carrying their plates, that’s when the Lord laid on my heart to serve our guest at their table, it was revealed right then why we were given round tables for this particular soup kitchen. The Lord’s words to my heart is that serving them at the table is our true act of being a servant.
My first thought (not my thought but His) was of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet. He showed us that true leadership is found in serving others with humility and love.
As we sit around these tables, we are not just serving a meal—we are serving people whom Jesus loves. These round tables remind us that we are all welcome, we are all equal, and we are all here to serve one another.
“If you love Me, feed My sheep.” — John 21:17
What a beautiful privilege it is to serve as Jesus served.
