Wellesley Municipal Light Plant (WMLP) is looking for volunteer **Energy Coaches** to help residents explore home energy improvements—from heat pumps and weatherization to energy-efficiency upgrades and available incentives.

You don’t have to be an expert! If you have some knowledge of home improvements, enjoy helping others, or are curious to learn, WMLP will provide training to get you started.

🌎 A changing climate. A changing economy. A changing world.

What do these changes mean for our communities, our economy and our future?

Join the League of Women Voters Wellesley on Wednesday, September 30, from 7:00–9:00 PM for an evening with MIT Professor, author and Wellesley resident Elisabeth B. Reynolds.

Professor Reynolds will discuss “U.S. Competitiveness and Economic Security in a Time of Change” — exploring the forces reshaping America, including reconfigured global supply chains, changing geopolitical alliances, transformative technologies and the increasing impact of weather-related disasters.

For a community thinking seriously about sustainability, climate resilience and the future of Wellesley, these issues are deeply connected. How we respond to climate-related disruption can affect infrastructure, jobs, industry, technology, supply chains and economic security.

Professor Reynolds will look at how the U.S. and Massachusetts can build the innovation and industrial ecosystems needed to navigate this period of change and create shared prosperity.

There will be a Q&A following the presentation.
