Weirton Baseball Association Youth baseball and softball organization WBA is a member of the Ohio Valley Youth Baseball League.

Established on June 6, 1958, Weirton Baseball Association provides youth baseball and softball instruction and competition for the surrounding area in accordance with the rules and regulations of PONY Baseball, Inc. Per the Constitution and Bylaws, the objective of the WBA league is to instill in local youth the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so

they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

🍂🍁WBA Fall Ball 2026 registration is now open! Follow the instructions at the link below to sign your child up now ❤️🥎⚾️💙

Cost is $50 for baseball and softball, $30 for t-ball.

T-BALL - 4-6 (NO 3-YEAR-OLDS)
PINTO - 7-8
MUSTANG - 9-10
BRONCO - 11-12
PONY - 13-14
SOFTBALL - 8U, 10U, 12U

Baseball season starts on August 22. Baseball players will need to be signed up for pinto and above by August 9.

Softball and tee ball will start after Labor Day. Softball and tee ball players have until August 22 to sign up.

Pinto baseball evaluations will take place this Saturday, Aug. 1 at 12 pm on field 3 for all players who have registered thus far, so coaches can begin to assemble teams and start practicing for the Aug. 22 fall ball league start date. Players should bring their cleats, equipment and a water bottle.

It was an action-packed weekend at WBA’s annual Kings of the Creek baseball tournament ⚾️❤️

Here are the results…

PINTO: Steubenville Black clenched the championship game 11-3 and went undefeated across the weekend. Weirton Pinto Blue finished runner up - this team entered four tournaments this summer, winning two and finishing runner up in the other two. They ended the all-star season with a record of 17-3.

MUSTANG: the Nail City Bombers emerged as champions over runner-up Brilliant All-Stars 11-6.

BRONCO: Steubenville 12u All-Stars faced Harc 12u and won 7-6 to secure the championship.

Congratulations to all the teams for their hard fought efforts!
