It is with great sadness that we post that our Training Officer, Richard Barr, has passed away. He courageously fought his battle against ALS. We thank you, Rich, for all your years of service to the Tri-State Young Marines. Please pray for his wife Wendy and son RJ during the coming days.

Richard Barr, our Training Officer and US army Veteran, was recently diagnosed with ALS and challenged the Tri-State Young Marines to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness. The Target Shop also nominated Tri-State Young Marines.

Tri-State Young Marines are nominating Music City Young Marines and Potomac River Young Marines to take the challenge (including the Adult Volunteers 😜).

Mr Timms also pointed out the Tri-State Young Marines and Adult Volunteers not in attendance this evening to be sure to take the challenge.
