📚🎪 What an amazing week at our Carnival Book Fair! 🎪📚

A HUGE shout-out and heartfelt thank you to all of our families who allowed their children to shop with us or joined us for our special shopping night! These fundraisers are only successful because of the incredible support of our school community, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. A special thank you to our amazing volunteers who spent their time helping students find the perfect book, calculate their totals, and count out all those coins! Your time and patience helped make this event such a success. Thank you to Mrs. Lam for allowing us to take over your library for a few days! We appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to keep the event running smoothly, from coordinating schedules to helping make sure everything comes together. A huge shout-out to our custodial team, who are always there to lend a helping hand with a smile on their faces! As a PTO, we know we can be a little needy sometimes, and we are incredibly thankful for your patience, flexibility, and support. Lastly, thank you to all of our teachers and staff for supporting us, believing in our ideas, and embracing some of our crazy PTO adventures 🤪!

Dover Friday Post:

As part of our weekly tradition to recognize and celebrate the amazing events, people, and positivity across our district, today’s Friday Post shines a spotlight on Digital Citizenship Week!

The third week of October is dedicated to recognizing the vital role our educators play in preparing students for a connected world. Teaching digital citizenship goes beyond basic internet safety, it's about empowering young minds to navigate the digital world with confidence, empathy, and integrity.

By cultivating media literacy and social-emotional skills, our district works to help students:

Think critically about online media and content
Engage responsibly and respectfully with others
Use digital tools safely, ethically, and effectively

Thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff for modeling and teaching these essential skills every day to help our students succeed online and beyond!
