Members Christmas Party December 16th is ago. Ticket sales are hot right now, don't be left out. Just a few more days to purchase. Schedule includes the Christmas Gift Game "Now you Have It, Now You Don't" at 9 am. Bring a $10 generic gift and some evil strategy to make some fun. Tall in the Saddle band plays at 10:30- 11:30, The Interesting Sweater Contest, formerly known as the Ugly Sweater Contest is at 11:30 am. A catered lunch is served at 12 noon. Top your own Cheesecake Bar for dessert. Gift basket Raffles for $1 or 6 for $5. 50/50 and door prizes drawn after lunch. Favor/Goody bag for every ticket holder to take home to remember the day. Our hearts are broken and we a feeling sadness for our community at the loss of three Northern York Regional Police Officers. We wish their families emotional healing and convey our thoughts and prayers to them. Heritage Senior Center is here for our community partners please reach out to us if the NYCRPD needs anything. Tickets for the November 2, 2025 Gift Card Bingo Fundraiser will go on Sale next week starting Monday. Cost is $25.00 Pre-Sale and $30.00 at the door/day of. Doors open at 12 pm. First game is at 2 pm. Raffles, 50/50 and special games available for additional cost. Concessions provided by the Dover Area High School Drama Club.

Does your child need volunteer hours for scouts, school or other organizations? Will they have a day off of school for teacher in-service days this fall? We would be glad to work out some hours for them to do odd jobs like light house keeping (no bathrooms), wipe tables, make copies, cutting flyers, (Scissors only) or vacuuming the center. We are so crazy busy with new members we are growing faster then we can keep up. Any help would be appreciated.
Adults/Parents/College Students, we need help in the Kitchen to prep, serve and clean up after meals. Like to listen to your music, come do dish pans and put your ear buds in and jam while you wash.

Gini Kite from ReMax Patriots is here today playing Wheel of Fortune with a large crowd of the senior center members. They are having a lot of fun. Seniors 60 and over, come join us at the Heritage Senior Center and see what you are missing. Gini is coming back next month to talk to us about Winterizing our Homes.

Heritage Senior Center in Dover is jumping with activity today. (Wednesday) It must be pick up game day. We have Wednesday Corn Hole, we have Games, Games, Games galore going on. Our ladies with the Rummy Cube and Azul are expanding into 2 tables. Two new members signing up and of course lots socializing over snacks and muffins. We serve cold breakfast and snacks from 9-11am for a small donations. And we can't forget Diane at the Piano for a sing along and Trivia. Thank you Diane for sharing your beautiful talent with us each month. Over 60 and need something to do. Come join us for games, cards, speaker presentations, food and fun every Monday-Friday 8-11:30 Lunch for members begin at 11:30. We are open 8-2, Monday - Friday. Good morning neighbors. The Heritage Senior Center is desperately seeking Home Delivered Meals Drivers on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays. One day a week, 3 days a week, or once a month. Any amount of time helps. Some routes will take about 1.5 hours some up to 2.5 hours. We have local , Dover, Shiloh, West York or a little further drives of Spring Grove/Thomasville or York New Salem. Grab your Bestie and have some great conversations, jam out to YOUR favorite tunes and no kid in the back complaining. Or take the littlest kids and have a great learning experience about helping others. Our home bound seniors love when the kids come to deliver. Give us a call. We also have other volunteer opportunities in the kitchen, serving, washing dishes and light housekeeping, vacuuming once a week etc. Any help is appreciated. Will gladly sign off on volunteer hours for scouts, and other organizations. Give us a call at 717-292-7471

Two spots on the Choptank Riverboat Crab Feast Cruise just opened up. It is Saturday, August 9th. We leave at 7 am for Hurlock Maryland where we will enjoy Crabs, Maryland crab soup, Maryland fried chicken, corn on the cobb and fried clams, dessert and a drink. all on a 3 hour tour of Maryland's beautiful Choptank River down to the Chesapeake Bay and back. Cost is paid to the 2 members who can not go due to medical. $135.00 per person. Give us a call at the center and we can make the arrangements.

We are having a Gift Card Bingo Fundraiser on Sunday, November 2nd with professional Bingo Caller Chris Ashe. Tickets will be pre sale $25.00 in advance or $30.00 at the Door. If you would like to donate a $25 or $50 gift card we would appreciate it and you and or your business would be acknowledged in the program, on our in house TVs, print newsletters and social media during the month of November. Heritage Senior Center is a 501(c)3 non profit and all donations are tax deductible under the IRS section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
