We received some great news today from the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office. We were notified that we received one of the Small Equipment Grants. The grant is in the amount of $25,389.00. This grant money is awarded for the purchase of new extrication equipment consisting of :
(1) Holmatro Cutter, (1) Holmatro Spreader, (4) Holmatro Li-lon Battery, (2) PBCH2 Battery Charger, (2)
On-Tool Charging Cord, (1)Daisy Chain Cord, (1) CBCH2 Battery Charger. This grant will allow the district to replace the original set of extrication equipment. This equipment is also known as the “Jaws of Life.”
