She needed a bigger kitchen. She built one other entrepreneurs could share. 💛

When production at That’s Right, Sweetie grew 75-fold in one year, founder and WCCC Ignite Business Academy graduate Stacy Jeffers outgrew her space.

Her solution became The Collective @ Maltworks, a licensed shared micro-kitchen in Racine that gives fellow food makers room to grow.

“I built the kitchen I couldn’t find and left the door open behind me. Entrepreneurs, makers, and foodies: this space is yours too.”

With support from Ignite, BizStarts, and RCEDC, Stacy turned her vision into action—and created an opportunity for others.

This week’s WCCC Member Spotlight celebrates Dr. Lato Nguyen and his wife, Nalee Nguyen, co-owners of Boutique Dental Arts & Implants in Cedarburg.

Dr. Lato moved from Vietnam to the United States at age 14. His journey took him through Greenfield High School, UW–Milwaukee, and Marquette University School of Dentistry—and into a profession centered on caring for others.

Today, their practice combines advanced dental care with personal attention, helping patients understand their options and feel comfortable taking the next step toward a healthier smile.

That is the kind of leadership William Xiong, Executive Director of the Shee Yee Community of Milwaukee, brings to his community every day.

From food distribution and interpretation to youth mentorship and cultural preservation, William’s work is hands-on and deeply personal.

Each month, Shee Yee Community helps distribute more than 25,000 pounds of food to local families — while also helping people navigate resources, language barriers, and everyday challenges.

For William, leadership is simple: Show up. Serve. Keep showing up.
